"When I walked into the MUIA office in Great Falls my spirit was a little broken and I was mostly seeking out the opportunity to be around other natives to help take away the lonesomeness I had been feeling.  From the minute I walked in the door the ladies welcomed me and offered me a simple hug.  At that moment that is exactly what I needed.  Since then they have provided me with transportation assistance, employment search, housing search, and clothing assistance.  They have even called me to check on me and follow up with me to make sure I was ok.  I cannot thank them enough for what they did for me that day and continue to help me with.  You see, a lot of times it is them simple acts of kindness and compassion that a person like me needs to give me that extra push to keep going and not give up.  Thank you MUIA, Rochelle and Cheri for making a difference in my life and helping lift my spirit. Genuinely do appreciate what you two ladies have done for me." -Billi Raining Bird

"When I first moved up to Great Falls, I didn’t have a lot of support. Family members were not present and detrimental to my growth. MUIA has been with me since the start. They have helped with money for work clothing, college books, and bills when time was rough. Thanks to their guidance, I have been able to attain an Associate of Arts degree from MSU Great Falls. They continue to help me on my journey, and with their endorsement, I feel like sky is the limit. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree at Providence University, a prestigious college located here in Great Falls. My experience with MUIA has been life changing and will always be in my mind as I continue to grow. Thank you MUIA. For everything you have done and continue to do for the indigenous people."- Oliver Main
